Golf, Hike, Bike, Paddle, Fish, Swim! Any time of year hiking and biking in the region is spectacular. Hike the hardwoods on premises or visit one of the historic parks near-by. Many also have well marked bike trails. The Livingston County Visitor’s Bureau can also provide you with hiking, biking and even paddling maps for the area. Outfitters in the area can arrange for hot air balloon rides, rafting, or boating excursions.

Features 9 acres of park land on the north shore of Canandaigua Lake. Redeveloped in 1996-1997, the park improvements include sidewalk on both sides of Lakeshore Drive, lakefront walkways, a new beach area, new bathhouse, a new small craft launch area, a new public dock equipped with a boat pump-out station, improved landscaping and shoreline protection. Picnic pavilions and an open air gazebo are available.

Park hours are 6:00AM-9:00PM from October 31-April 30 and 6:00AM-11:00PM from May 1-October 30 Entry to the beach area is $5 per person over 18 years of age.  $2 per person 18 and under.

Skiing, Snowshoeing & Snowmobiling Some of the most superb downhill skiing in New York can be found just around the corner.

Although there is no snowmobiling on the property, NYS trails are plentiful in the area. NYS Snowmobile Association Our Mountainside Lodge is located across the street from Bristol Mountain Ski Resort with an awesome view of all the trails.

 

Let’s Explore The Wine Country! The NYS Finger Lakes Wine Country, is an area that is bursting with tasteful and fun wineries to tour.

  • Seneca Lake Wine Trail is the largest and most active wine trail in New York State with a community of over 35 wineries, a distillery, and two breweries.  The Seneca Lake Wine trail is approximately 35 miles from The Lodge.   • Keuka Lake Wine Trail is the most scenic of New York’s pristine Finger Lakes.  Enjoy the unique tasteful experience each has to offer!
