Procedures for Start-Up & Check Out

Start Up Amenities     

Kitchen

  • 12 Cup Coffee Maker with filters
  • Folgers Regular/Decaf Coffee    
  • Sugar 
  • Non-dairy Creamer
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil (cruet)
  • Aluminum Foil/Plastic Wrap
  • Napkins (a few to get started with)
  • Dishes, Glasses, Cups – for maximum number of guests
  • Utensils – for maximum number of guests
  • Toaster, Microwave, 7 qt crock pot
  • 1-qt, 2.25 qt, & 5 qt cover sauce pans
  • Skillets (fry pans)

 

Toiletries  

  • Toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom)
  • Kleenex (2-3 boxes thru-out house)
  • Hand soap (one bottle per bathroom)
  • Hair Dryer (1 per full bath)

 

Linens     

  • Bath towels, hand towels, face cloths – 1 set per maximum number of guests     
  • Bed Sheets, Blankets & Comforters – 1 set per bed

 

Cleaning Supplies   

  • Paper Towels (2 rolls)
  • Multi-Purpose Cleaner
  • Dish Detergent
  • Laundry Detergent, Dryer Sheets
  • Garbage Bags (start up supply 6-8 bags)
  • Mop & Bucket
  • Broom & Dust Pan
  • Iron & Ironing Board

 

We also provide a start-up bundle of firewood for the fire pit. ** Please bring Plastic Cups, paper plates, plastic utensils for the pool and spa area ** Please bring pool/hot tub towels
**We recommend you bring full size zip lock bags to take your food home with you

Check Out Procedures
____ Collect towels and put them in basket provided DO NOT PLACE WET TOWELS ON BED LINENS
____ Strip sheets from beds including pillowcases and leave on beds. PLEASE DO NOT WRAP    
          SHEETS IN BLANKETS.  If you did not use bed leave as is. Please do not make the beds.
____ Give a general sweep & clean. Broom, vacuum.
____ Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start before leaving 
          PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DIRTY DISHES IN THE SINK.
____ Take or throw away any opened food items. If unopened we can donate.
____ Move furniture back to its original location if moved.
____ Ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked
____ Pick up any trash on grounds and toys left in the yard and pool area.
____ Place pool furniture back to the proper location if moved.
____ Ensure hot tub cover is placed on the tub and secure. Set the hot tub to 85 degrees.
____ Ensure coffee pot is off
____ If futons have been used return them to the proper position.
____ Empty all trash bins and place them in the trash cans that are provided outside.
____ Turn off all lights
____ Lock home by pressing the YALE button on the door keypad

**When we have a check out and check in on the same day; our outdoor maintenance staff may arrive at 9:00am and our housekeeping staff will arrive  10:00 on your day of check out to start preparations for our next guests.
